Back to Square One Mystery Jan. Clue

Just this week I got my fabric cut and pieced for the first clue of this mystery quilt. Good thing, cause Judy posted the 2nd clue today. Here are the first clue pieces.
The colors aren't quite right in this picture. The background is a pale yellow. The color that looks like dark blue is really a deep purple. This is the first quilt that I have ever made out of all solids. Having fun with it.

I am going to try to link to Judy's Linky box. You can go there and see lots of other pieces.

Thanks for visiting. I hope to be back this weekend with another post. Have a good one!

Those are great colors, Winona~ I can't wait to see what your quilt looks like!
Hope you are staying warm.... I saw on the news last night where you all were supposed to get some bad winter weather.
Take care.... ((HUGS))

Hi, Winona. I saw your reply over at Hickery Holler Farm and thought I would pop over and say hello. Our farm is up by Maysville, which is pretty close to you. I always love finding new Missouri folks to talk to.

I'm in love with your rooster quilt in your blog header. Did you design that?

Hope you'll pop over to Cranky Puppy Farm and say hello.
