Little Pumpkin Quilt

I really have to quit getting side tracked or I never will get the SIL's quilts done. LOL Today I decided to make Sandy Gervais' free pattern. I used her pumpkin and star pattern, but changed most everything else. I really like how it turned out. This is another project that is all done on the sewing machine. All of it is scraps except the border and backing, and they were both in my stash. Even the batting was a scrap.
Is Blogger having problems? I tried 3 times to upload this picture. The little line would go about 3/4 of the way, then stop. I finally got it to work on the 4th try. So this post may not have very many pictures. LOL Here, hopefully, is a closeup of the pumpkin. Kind of wish I had used less bright orange for it, but I wanted to use out of my scraps.
Ok, blogger is doing the same thing, so I will try to add some more pictures tomorrow if I have time. I'm too tired to sit here and wait on it. (grin) Might as well admit, I'm also too impatient. LOL

For those that have entered my Fall into Fall giveaway, thank you. I usually try to respond to comments, but this time there are just too many. I hope you all understand. I think I will turn in now. Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful fall piece.
I have noticed blogger being buggy.
Yesterday my dashboard was super sized, today it is normal again.

They must be working on blogger. It hasn't been very friendly this week for me either. I love the little pumpkin quilt. I like how the pumpkin is bright colored.

Great pumpkin quilt. I think the stars really add to it and how nice you could pull from your scraps. I had a few problems with blogger the other day but haven't tried since. Nola

I like your pumpkin quilt. Blogger was weird here a few hours back, too.

Oh that turned out great! ...and without hitting the stores too... How cleaver to start with a pattern and then make it yours in some special way.
I can never tell if it is blogger having problems or just me!

That is perfect for a fall table topper. I quit using blogger for my posts and now use Windows Live Writer. It is much easier and quicker to insert pictures and then publish.

That came out VERY cute Winona!! I don't think the pumpkin is too orange, it is suppose to be the focal point.....

I don't do the standard blogger upload of pictures since it just plops everything into one folder. Instead I load my pictures into their own folders in Picasa then insert the links. My pictures aren't clickable but really, how often does a person click on a photo....
