It turned off cold last night. We had 30* early this morning, but the wind was still howling. Our old house is so cold when the wind is blowing. I was dressed for warmth today, yet still felt chilly. I had on my sweats, a sweater, my wool lined slippers, a shawl and an afghan around my legs. I looked like I was bundled for a blizzard. LOL I am so NOT looking forward to winter. Thankfully it got up into the upper 40's and the wind is starting to lay. I even took my sweater off. (grin)
Look what came in the mail yesterday. It is my Fall into Fall giveaway win #3. It is called Season Sampler by Cabbage Rose and was sent to me by Cheryll of The Memory Keeper.
I have been wanting to start another applique quilt this winter and this has some great projects. Look at this one called Feline Fancy. Isn't it cute?
Here is a couple more projects in the book. It may be hard for me to decide what to do first. (grin)
This book has 8 gorgeous projects in it. How many hours of fun will that be? LOL Thank you so much, Cheryll. I love it. I found out that Cheryll and I live in the same state and she actually went through my home town a few weeks ago on her way to visit family. How neat is that?
I want to again thank Jeanette, Patty, and Cheryll for all the goodies I won during the Fall into Fall giveaway. Also, thank you Debi for organizing everything. I know it was a lot of work, but I am sure everyone had just as much fun as I did.
Well, I know this is a short post, but I want to get settled down in front of the tv with Bob's quilt. Tomorrow is grocery day, so I may not get a chance to post, but I will show you the latest bag soon. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for visiting and please come again.

Wow! You're gonna be busy! That looks like a great book! Stay warm! :0)
It is always hard to decide what to do next. I am trying to focus on Christmas presents, but keep finding thinkgs I want to do for myself.
Hi Winona,
Thinking of you my dear friend. Stay warm and have a great weekend.
I love ya,
Cathy
Those look like neat projects. Congrats on the wins. Our house is usually easy to heat but with the wind, it's chilly. Hope you can manage to stay warm.
Your post looked as if it had been written from my house ... only add a bit of rain to the bluster.
Those projects look like fun. I don't think you will suffer from boredom.
Another great win Winona!! I love the project on the cover. I just got home from my shopping, I hope to be able to hunker down and sew soon :0)

Nice book! Here I am reading your temps and yesterday we had a high of 80! I could use a few days of your cooler weather right now - lol!
What a great win! I like the Feline Fancy one a lot...sorry about the cold weather...we had 85 degrees here yesterday, but it was much cooler today...78. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. I feel for you with all those clothes on...I run around here with shorts and bare feet most of the time!
Looks like a wonder book of goodies to ponder there Winona! Good for you! 8-)
Wow, you are going to have so much fun with all of it this winter.

Hey there, Winona! Looks like you have some wonderful new projects ahead of you- and I LOVE the Cabbage Rose quilt in the first picture... I hope you make it! (Not hinting or anything.. *hint hint* haha)
It has finally turned cold here, of course it is the middle of November, but it kinda hurts- we had been having cold nights but days into the 70's still, but all that is over for good, I'm afraid. I'm sitting here at my computer this morning with a little space heater at my feet and I 've got it turned up so high I think my house shoes are melting! *LOL*
Hope you're having a great week..
Hugs,
Paula
By the way- I didn't get to take my little fabric run on my Birthday... Hubby had been wanting to go to the Bass Pro Shop for a while so I just didn't say anything. But hopefully this weekend I'll get up there. *fingers crossed*
