I plan to spend tonight hand quilting on the star sampler and then tomorrow after church (if the roads are good) I will work on the Peter Rabbit quilt. There is no way I plan to have it quilted by Easter, but the top will be done like as Milah said.
Bud's quilt will be for Christmas instead of his June birthday since there is something more pressing he needs. That is fine. While pieceing the 2 quilts for Christmas, I can pick up the pink and brown again. *heavy sigh*
I love your fabrics. I like the idea of a small green border. If you do that then either fabric will look great. Without it, it becomes "Busy". I love quilts with 2-3 colors and then I like the ones with dozens of colors!~Bren~https://www.blogger.com/profile/14533891842002502385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726935928177220874.post-80239262363063397332009-03-27T12:20:00.000-05:002009-03-27T12:20:00.000-05:00Winona, I myself like the darker material for the ...Winona, I myself like the darker material for the border but that's just my opinion lol.
Would you believe that in that pile of your new fabric I have one of them? The striped one that you have is what I have here. It was going to be curtains but I changed my mind so not sure what I'm going to do with it yet lol.
Stay warm my friend and hope you don't get the dreaded snow or not much if you do. Happy quilting :-)

LaurieLauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01923250285679212537noreply@blogger.com
